Using gift card in other country I recently redeemed a gift card for $50 to my amazon account. However, I want to buy a gift for my friend in India and can only do so through amazon.in. Even though your Amazon login will work across all of the Amazon websites you can not use the Gift Cards from store on another. Gift Cards on the Amazon USA store can only be used to purchase products on the USA store. You cannot use it on the UK store. Only Amazon gift cards can be used on the UK store.
